Jaroslav “Jarda” Hruska

Jarda was born in Czechoslovakia where he played and coached in the Premier Youth Football League in SK Dynamo Ceske Budejovice professional football team’s youth academy system. Many famous players such as Karel Poborsky (Manchester United, Benfica Lisbon, Lazio Rome) and Jiri Nemec (Schalke 04) learned their skills there.
In California Jarda has been coaching and training girl’s teams since 1992. In 1994 Jarda joined California Flyers Soccer Club where he developed a girl’s program with Yugoslavian international player Milan Dovedan.
Later Jarda continued coaching at the new Flyers Soccer Club under the direction of Leonardo Cullear, former captain of the Mexican National team and present Director of the Mexican Women’s National teams.
In 2001 Jarda joined Santa Anita Soccer Club where he coached and trained for three years with director Clint Greenwood. Clint technically developed
Landon Donovan the best US soccer player.
In 2004 Jarda went to Crown City United where he coached and trained under the direction of Dan Calichman (former captain of LA Galaxy) until 2007 when CCU merged with Los Angeles Football Club.
LAFC under the direction of Teddy Chronopoulos (ex-MLS player, ex-Director of Chivas Academy and present Director of Pateadores US Soccer Development Academy) become LAFC/Chelsea FC where Jarda coached girl’s teams and also coached their teams in 2008 US Club Soccer National Championship in Florida and in 2009 tour of England. In England Jarda coached GU17 team and also participated in coaching education program in Chelsea FC training center in Cobham. Lorrie Fair (ex-US National team player) represented Chelsea FC Ladies in Cobham.
When LAFC/Chelsea FC ceased to exist Jarda joined FC Golden State where he coached GU15 team that won Regional Championship.
In 2011 The Southern California Developmental Soccer League (SCDSL) was created to serve the needs of clubs looking to have greater ability to control players and teams environments and there Jarda coached at Crescenta Valley Soccer Club and later at CZ Elite in Pasadena, California.
Jarda also worked for many years with Alejo Escos (Argentinean Pro Player, America De Cali Pro Player, Deportivo Quito Pro Player and Director of Temperley Soccer Academy) and Valerey Stepanov (Zenith St. Petersburgh Pro Player, Russian Soccer Federation Professional Coach and Director of International Soccer Camp, Inc.) who both had a big influence on his career.
In 2015 Jarda moved to Jacksonville, Oregon where he is a member of Rogue Valley Timbers Soccer Club and currently coaches G01 and G03 teams in Oregon Timbers/Thorns Premier League.

Jarda is also a coach at International Soccer Camp, Inc (http://www.internationalsoccercamp.com).

Jarda’s main focus is on developing proper soccer foundation and on individual skill training so every committed player can become a technically and tactically advanced player. Jarda coached at all age levels and competitive brackets.
